Explosion-proof lighting starts with the hazardous area, not the product label. Zone 1, Zone 2, dust areas and gas areas do not share the same certification or installation rules.
Terms such as IECEx, ATEX, Zone 1 and Zone 2 can appear in titles, FAQs and anchor text while the body still focuses on the medium, hazardous area and project file.
Start with the hazardous medium
Gas, vapor, dust and temperature class determine the fixture path, and ordinary IP-rated products are not substitutes.
